Founded in 2015, Striking Clinic has quickly rose to become one of Banbury's most popular martial arts gym, specialising in K1 Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Our goal is to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere, catering to beginners, pros and everything in-between.
We offer classes for all ages, as well as a 1 week free trial to help you decide if we're the right gym for you!
Memberships
We offer memberships that cater to all schedules, including youth martial arts and once-a-week memberships.
Don’t want to commit just yet? No problem! You can jump into any of our classes for only £10 per session with no strings attached.

We offer a diverse range of classes 6 days a week. Catering to both adults and youth martial arts classes, each is designed to acommodate all skill levels.

Martial Arts Classes
Beginners Class
For those who are new to martial arts, beginners classes are the perfect place to start. We focus on the fundamentals of K1 striking, starting from the very beginning. This is also a great first step if you're looking to progress into MMA.
It doesn't matter if you have never practiced martial arts before or if you're feeling a bit nervous about getting started, as no prior experience is required and all abilities are welcome.
Technique Classes
Our technique classes are designed to help you develop fundamental striking techniques. These intermediate classes incorporate pad-work sessions and classic Dutch-style drills. Working in pairs, we practice a variety of striking combinations.
These classes are suitable for all abilities and everyone is welcome to join and improve their skills.
Precision MMA Classes
Precision MMA classes primarily focus on grappling techniques, specifically designed to teach you the skills needed to compete as an MMA athlete.
These classes are open to all levels of experience and abilities, we encourage everyone to join in the experience.
Bagwork Classes
Our Bag-Work classes are centered around improving fitness and conditioning. The class is structured into rounds, allowing you to practice your technique, develop power, and improve your overall fitness.
These classes are suitable for all levels of experience and abilities, so everyone is welcome to join.
Sparring Classes
Our sparring classes are currently invite only. Available to Striking Clinic members who can demonstrate good competency in our technique classes.
Once we feel confident in your level of skill, you will be invited to our sparring classes.
Youth Classes
Offering your children the best entry into the world of martial arts. Covering a variety of martial arts techniques that apply to both MMA and also self-defence.

Our coaches are multi-time champions across a variety of discipliness including Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA and Jiu Jitsu, providing expert coaching and advice with special guest masterclasses held every month!
K1 Kickboxing and MMA
So what is K1? Well it's not your conventional 'side-on slap fighting'. The name "K1" stands for Karate, Kickboxing (Dutch, Savate, Muay Thai & Western) and Kung Fu. Utilising the best practices of all 3 to create a truly dominant striking discipline. Couple this with the technique and versatility of MMA to become a true all-rounder! A Gym Built To The Highest Quality
When we say we're the best martial arts and MMA gym in Banbury, we mean it. No corners were cut when we kitted out the gym and we're consistently improving.
We have a selection of SKS Empire and Fairtex bags, full range of SKS Empire Thai pads and body pads as well as high quality flooring throughout. The gym is also equipped with changing rooms, lockers and shower facilities.
